Kurt Jackson’s Biodiversity exhibition at Victoria Art Gallery, Bath focusses on the web of plants and animals that we share this planet with. The painting above, A place of birds of prey, Wales 2019 is one such example.
If sold, we will donate all proceeds from the sale of this work to the RSPB.
“I have been aware of the RSPB’s work my whole life. I was in the Young Ornithologists Club as a pre-teen birdwatcher, when I was lucky enough to draw alongside the conservationist and painter Peter Scott at Slimbridge Wildfowl Centre.
“The RSPB are the main organisation working for the conservation of birdlife in this country, but their mandate is now wider than that; embracing the challenges of climate change and habitat loss and the whole pantheon of the UK’s wildlife.
“It is logical that we should raise funds for the RSPB’s work via my touring exhibition Biodiversity.” – Kurt Jackson
