Together, we raised £5,400 to feed those in need this Christmas!

By 3rd December 2020 January 4th, 2021 Charity

In a little under 30 minutes, you helped raise £5,400 for Street Food Project, helping to feed vulnerable and marginalised families and individuals in the Penzance area. That’s right, 30 minutes! Between sending out a newsletter announcement at roughly 2:30pm and picking up our child from school at 3pm, you had raised £5,400 for one of our local food charities through the purchase of our Kurt Jackson Charity Christmas Bundle!

Thank you all so much for your generosity!

Did you miss out on the bundle but still want to contribute? You can help by contributing to the Street Food Project crowdfunder.

The Street Food Project are amazed and full of joy to hear that the fundraiser by the Jackson Foundation has raised £5,400 for our services.

This money will really help those in food poverty in the Penwith community this winter. It will be used to buy the essential food for us to continue to offer a free hot meals 7 evenings a week, every week in Penzance, and to ensure our family shopping bag service continues well into the New Year.
It will also mean we can give some seasonal treats to our guests and the families over Christmas, a time when many are alone or struggling and will apreciate something to make them feel connected and special.

Thank you all for purchasing the Kurt Jackson print packages and thanks to the Jackson Foundation for choosing Street Food Project as the organisation for your Christmas fundraiser this year it will really support vulnerable people in our community this Winter.
